Under the guidance of Mr. Arvind jivabhai and Dr. J.H. Pancholi ‘Experimental primary school was initiated in the month of June 2007 with 150 students of standard 5th to 7th . As time passed, under the able guidance of honourable principals and management, the school has transformed into huge majestic educational banyan tree from a mere seed .
On 26th January 2014, the institute was named by honourable education minister of Gujarat state, Mr. Ramanlal vora and honourable president of North Gujarat education society, Mumbai Mr. Tanil kilachand shah. Dr.J.H.Pancholi honourable execucative director N.G.E.S, Patan, Mrs.Yaminiben Desai honourable secretary N.G.E.S, Patan and Mr. Ranchhodbhai Desai honourable M.L.A. Patan district have graced the auspicious presence on this memorable day.
Thus , on 26th January 2014 onword ‘ Experimental primary school ‘ came into existence as “ARVIND JIVABHAI PRIMARY SCHOOL”. At present our school provides education to 1400 students of 26 classes from playgroup to stanadard 8.
National and international archived fame dignitaries our trustees dedicated their body, mind & wealth in selfless price. And now the school is possessing top most position in district.
Mr. Arvind Jivabhai's Early life
Mr. Arvind Jivabhai Shah was born on 10th January 1938 in Patan, Gujarat. up to class 10, he received his education from Patan. He started his career as a diamond merchant back in 1954 and continued till 1970. In 1964, he started new venture in chemical industry. And now his elder son Mr. Jignesh Arvindbhai Shah is expanding it tremendously. In 1991, his younger son Mr. Pragnesh Arvindbhai Shah re-launched his diamond business. He had dedicated last 20 years of his life for social services. His interest areas were reading, travelling and social services.He joined N.G.E.S. as joint secretary in 1974 as he had keen interest to serve society through education. He played a key role in the development of N.G.E.S. Since 1974, he had dedicated his time and efforts for the betterment of N.G.E.S. He remained trustee of management for 20 years.
He was also founder of Patan Co – Operative Bank. He established it in Mumbai in 1980. He also actively participated for its development. During that time span , he was designated as Director, Vice – Chairman and Chairman of it. He served as a volunteer in Morbi flood relief camp for one month. He organized medical camp in Kutch during earthquake and also served in Patan and affected villages around Patan. He also supported in repairments of affected houses, school buildings and public organizations.
He played a role of advisor and guide in establishment of Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. He also helped university to raise fund for the establishment of different institutions of H.N.G.U. campus.
Shri Arvind Jivabhai shah, a unique persona and noble social servant left us on 25th January 2014, but he is still alive in our hearts as “ARVIND JIVABHAI PRIMARY SCHOOL”.
